Second year player, nineth grader Lucy Lowman, who played club soccer before joining the team, finds the more competitive environment challenging but rewarding. Even though the practices are tough, the team makes Lucy feel valued and supported. They lost their quarterfinal game at the state championships to St. Charles on Oct. 23, marking the end of their season.
