Q: What have you been doing for soccer during the high school season?
A: We finished the high school season and I was captain this year. We made it to state again, which is a pretty big deal for our program.

Q: What have you been doing for soccer for the club season?
A: We finished and then for club soccer, I play with St. Croix and we play five times a week and play tournaments.

Q: How often do you practice?
A: For high school, we have practice every day after school for two hours, and then for club, I have practice five times a week and we normally have one of those days for weightlifting.

Q: What position do you play?
A: I’m a midfielder, I play the six and the 10, but I used to be a four and a five, who are centerbacks and the six and 10 are holding mid or attacking.

Q: Is there a favorite team or player that you follow?
A: I like Trinity Rodman from the USA team. She has a unique style of play and I think she’s really good.

Q: Is there a specific game you remember that was a hard win?
A: I think it was two years ago, maybe three years ago. I was a sophomore and we were playing Providence [Academy] in the state semifinal. We lost to them like 10-0 and 8-0 in the season and they ended up 3-1 in the first half. In the second half, we came back to 4-1 and beat them.

Q: Are there any captains or leaders who left a mark?
A: In ninth-grade, my sister was a captain, so I looked up to her. She was a really good player and she was also a midfielder. Also, Lindsay Brown. I think she was really nice.

Q: What’s your favorite moment on the team or in a game?
A: Going back to the sophomore year game, I hadn’t scored a ton that season, so that goal was a big goal for me and we ended up winning the state championship that year.

Q: What got you into soccer?
A: My grandpa played professional soccer and my uncle also played professionally. So it was kind of just a family thing.

Q: What is your pregame routine?
A: Before the game, I usually have an energy drink and probably some goldfish or a quick snack and then just listen to music and stretch.
