News in Brief

After representative elections were held and the representatives were chosen on May 14, a few spots remained open coming into the new school year. Representative spots that remained open for ninth grade included one for Upper School Council, one for Student Activities Committee, and one for Student Technology Committee. A spot on Upper School Council and an alternate spot on Committee for Community Conduct remained open for sophomores. Seniors had a spot open for Upper School Council and an alternate spot for Committee for Community Conduct. This was the first election held with a ranked-choice voting system.

The class representatives that were elected are below.

Ninth Grade

  • Class Representative to Upper School Council: Tenzin Bawa
  • Class Representative to Student Activities Committee: Hobbs Lillygreen

Sophomore

  • Class Representative to Upper School Council: Maura Hartfeldt

Senior

  • Class Representative to Upper School Council: Aidan Lanz
