With a new season just having started, Girls Varsity Soccer is off to a tremendous start, winning their first six games of the season, and being ranked number 1 in Class 1A of state. While this amazing success can be primarily attributed to their performances on the field, their warm up playlist helps get them excited and ready for the game.

Captain Heidi Deuel who helped create the playlist said, “We use the playlist to get focused and it also helps hype us up so we can have lots of energy in the game.” The playlist uses energetic and popular songs to help get the team ready for the game.

It features well known artists such as Childish Gambino, Kanye, J.Cole and Lil Wayne to get them pumped for their game. The playlist primarily features hip-hop and pop to create a sing out loud playlist where most of the team is familiar with the lyrics.

GVS takes on Providence Academy tonight, away under the lights at 7:00 p.m.
