Junior Henry Currie just started playing football and is enjoying the start to his first season. Below is a 10 question interview about Currie.
Q: What position do you play?
I play right offensive tackle.
Q: What number do you wear?
I wear number 61.
Q: How long have you been playing?
I started playing about four weeks ago at the start of the season.
Q: What inspired you to start playing?
Some friends and coaches talked to me and said I should play, so I decided that it would be a fun way to spend the fall.
Q: How has the team welcomed you as a first-year player?
I already knew a lot of the players from school but everybody has been very welcoming and friendly to me.
Q: How are you enjoying the season so far?
I am having a lot of fun even with COVID-19 restrictions.
Q: Were you a fan of football before you played?
I used to watch a few games but I was never the biggest fan.
Q: Who is your favorite football player?
Adrian Peterson
Q: What are your goals for the season?
Our goals for the season are to have a winning season and hopefully win sections.
Q: How will the team recover from losing key players from last year?
Every year we will lose some good players, although last year was particularly tough to lose some of those players but we have done a good job replacing them so our squad is looking good for the season.
