The smell of seafood and rice wafted through the Randolph Campus halls Thursday, a sign of the paella Bruce Taher prepared for students and faculty as a special “chef on display” event.
COMMUNAL SERVING. Upper school faculty members serve themselves paella in paper food trays. The display, one large pan of steaming hot paella, was located in the seating area of the dining hall. “We try to … do more stuff on display. So this is kind of a chef on display,” head chef Tom Schiller said.
