[SPARTANS MIC’D UP] Triple Jump with junior Julia Taylor

I think that track is a really difficult sport mentally at times and physically. It’s kinda a love-and-hate relationship for me. I really just do love the hard work that pays off, and a little personal record (PR) improvement each time.

— Julia Taylor

Hop, step and jump. Join junior Julia Taylor as she takes a Go-Pro on the runway and sandpit on what it like to triple jump in track and field. Exploring various events like short distance running and jumping, Taylor has been on the team since fifth grade. “I just love spending time with my teammates. Although [track] is individual, it’s also team,” Taylor said.
