[PHOTO STORY] Sound sculptures showcased and critiqued
Sculptures were displayed at the Davern Entrance and were easily visible throughout the 1st floor Shilling commons area.
The 9th graders showcased their Sound Sculpture projects outside at the Davern entrance during x-period May 23, as well as on the first floor of Shilling. Each group of about four students was tasked to create a sound producing sculpture that would meet the requirements and preferences of their given client. The clients were US Fine Arts teachers Daryn Lowman, Stefanie Motta, and Mara Duvra. Sculptures filled the hallway and Davern entrance with vibrant colors and an amazing variety of sounds.
