[PHOTO GALLERY] Muslim affinity group hosts food sale for Pakistan flood relief
FOR A CAUSE. The food sale was in support of UNICEF, an organization that is raising money for the floods in Pakistan.
The Muslim affinity group held a food sale during student lunch periods on Nov. 1. The student leaders of the group cooked traditional cultural dishes from around the world and a few baked goods to sell. The proceeds of the sale went to UNICEF, an organization assisting with the severe flooding in Pakistan. After tallying up the sales, the group was able to raise $1309.05 for the cause.
