Ninth grader Ellie Hoppe and the dance team have to wear specific shoes in competition or the team gets docked points. “Our shoes let us point our feet to avoid straining or tearing muscles and also they let us spin with enough traction that we dont fall over but not too much so we cant spin,” Hoppe said.
