[NEWS IN BRIEF] UPDATE: Homecoming dress-up days revised

Don’t pull out class colors until Tuesday; it’s one of many changes to the dress-up days traditions during homecoming week Oct. 2-6. Class Color day was moved to reflect another shift: the all-school assembly on Tuesday, which will bring the K-5 students from the Goodrich Campus up to the 6-12 Randolph Campus and in the Lang Field stands instead of the Briggs Gymnasium risers. Another significant shift happened after the e-mail about Homecoming week was sent to families; a complaint about the planned Wednesday dress up day prompted Student Activities Committee leaders to change the day to “Anything but a backpack,” a day with high participation last year.

MONDAY – Dress as a celebrity day
TUESDAY – Class Color day (9-green, 10-yellow, 11-red, 12-blue)
WEDNESDAY – Anything but a backpack day
THURSDAY – Barbenheimer
FRIDAY – Spartan Blue and Gold
