Reuse paper (and save the planet) with DIY balloon lights
Reduce, reuse, recycle: this common phrase is relevant year-round, but grows with significance every April as Earth Day approaches, bringing a heightened awareness for eco-friendly actions. Get in a green spirit with this DIY craft that offers a fun way to reuse old newspaper or wrapping paper scraps, instead of throwing them away.
Step 1. Assemble necessary supplies: scissors, old papers (this demo used newspaper and wrapping paper scraps), and a string of twinkly lights.
To avoid a fire hazard and minimize the environmental impact of the twinkly lights, be sure to switch them off when not in use.
