Girls basketball defeats Johnson in home opener
The Girls Varsity Basketball team played well and hard on Nov. 30, taking home their second win of the 2018-19 season. Their ability to be aggressive helped them score efficiently, as they won the game via a 50-17 blowout. Their teamwork and hard work were key factors for a successful home opener: “It’s fun to play together because we are all supportive of each other and work hard,” sophomore Pilar Saavedra-Weis said.
Their next game is Dec. 4 at PACT Charter School at 7:30 p.m.
