Quiz Bowl team competes at nationals
Quiz Bowl team members Andrew Evens, Bridget Keel, Asa Zirps, and Colin Will prepare for their first round at Small School Nationals on Apr. 23. Coach Kate Lockwood said, “We’re having a really great time and playing some really great quiz bowl.”
The Quiz Bowl team competed at Small School Nationals Apr. 22-24 in Rosemount, Illinois.
On Saturday, coach Kate Lockwood said, “We had an exciting day of round-robin rounds… ending the day 8-2 with Colin Will ranked 18th and Asa Zirps 24th in individual points. Not only did the team have a great record, they worked well together, conferred on bonuses, and displayed excellent sportsmanship.”
Sunday, the team headed to playoffs. Competition was double elimination.
The team finished 11th (of 55 teams) overall.
