Circle skirts facilitate a fashionable transition between seasons

If the lingering snow visible just outside the window is ignored, slowly rising temperatures, shorter cuts in clothes stores, and pastel-splattered magazine covers urge one to think optimistically about the fast-approaching spring season. Some students choose to express their enthusiasm for the upcoming warm weather by donning mini circle skirts, a perfect piece for season transition, be it summer to fall or winter to spring. With a solid colored skirt, patterned tights are a viable pairing. “I like wearing circle skirts because they’re flattering and make a nice silhouette. Also, body-con skirts and pencil skirts are harder to fit into,” sophomore Caroline Montague said.
