Hoping to incorporate elements of both functionality and design, as well as to study how those two themes interact, Evy Sachs’s “Teapot Sets” were crafted with deliberate attention to detail in each one. Sachs experimented with size, shape, color and style through different glazes, sculpting techniques and lid sizes. Sophomore Eva Johnson, after viewing the gallery, was impressed: “Teapots are kind of known as one of the hardest things to make in ceramics, so I think that the construction is really impressive as well as the attention to detail,” Johnson said.

In team sports, athletes play for the name on the front of the jersey. For some athletes, this means their club's logo.
Women work just as hard as men and devote just as much time. But they are constantly placed beneath the men by the IIHF. It is unfair to the many women that worked hard for their opportunity to represent their country. It is unfair to every female hockey player out there that constantly has to watch men being prioritized causing them to believe that their sport matters less just because of their gender.
