[PHOTO GALLERY] State Fair ’25: the great Spartan get-together

IN A PICKLE? Junior Avital Coleman, alongside coworker Lila Montgomery (also a junior), poses with police officers. Coleman and Montgomery are both working their second year at “The Perfect Pickle,” where they make deep-fried pickles and hang out around the fair before and after shifts. “It's definitely a really entertaining job and very high pace; it's pretty chaotic,” Coleman said. “I work at the trailer, which is really busy because it's right by the midway. It's definitely been a bit overwhelming, just considering how much homework I have, but I really enjoy it, so I make it work.” (Submitted Photo: Avital Coleman)

This annual two-week celebration draws millions of visitors, and SPA students are no exception, with about 70% reporting they’ve visited the fair this year.
