Student Activities Committee is highly committed

Student Activities Committee is gearing up for a busy year. Planning for Homecoming is well under way, and with the late start on Oct. 1, SAC has been able to turn their attention to the dances and the new Facebook page. “We’re encouraging everyone to upload pictures to the Facebook page,” SAC co-president Jeron Mariani said about the Fan Photo of the Week. “We want them to take pictures so they can remember fun times at the games, and we want to put up student photography.” This year there will be a dance replacing the Battle of the Bands, and the most popular theme on the Facebook page is a black light dance. “We’re working to make that happen,” Mariani said. Co-president Max Lowenthal is looking forward to the group of students on SAC this year. “We’ve already gotten a lot done,” Lowenthal said. “Homecoming is going to be a lot different than it’s been in the past and I think it’s going to turn out really well.”
