Boys Varsity Soccer ties game in a thriller

The Boys Varsity Soccer team provided nail-biter entertainment on Saturday as they came back to tie their game against top-ranked Apple Valley at 2-2 after being down 0-2. The first goal for the Spartans was scored by senior Peter Wood off a header and the second goal was scored by senior captain Josh Gray off of a cross from senior Lorenzo Pavoloni. The boys had one more chance in overtime after sophomore Tyler Seplak hit a shot off the post in overtime. “I’m happy that we got one point out of the game…we didn’t give up,” Gray said. “It’s good to know that we can compete with the top team in the state.” As of now, the Boys Varsity Soccer team are first in the state for Class A.
