The U.S. Department of Education is ending a $3.9 million grant to the College of St. Scholastica earlier than they had planned. Instead of cutting it off in 2027 they are going to cut it off in December 2025. The grant supported putting therapy students in regional schools to help address mental health. An estimated 5,000 students in northeastern MN may be affected.
