Success in last year’s section tournament inspires Boys Basketball

After last season ended with a heartbreaking overtime loss to Concordia Academy in the sectional semifinals last year, Boys Varsity Basketball returns with the same starting lineup.

“I don’t think we need to change much, we just need to make sure we stay focused and work towards a common goal and play as a team,” senior captain Spencer Egly said. The same team that pulled out a stunning victory against Minnehaha in last year’s sectional tournament expects to drive deep in this year’s tournament.

“I think we can really make a run deep into sections and make it to state. We have a great group of guys who love to work hard and enjoy being part of the team atmosphere,” Egly said.
