[PHOTO STORY] How are students spending time at home?
Sara Browne is staying busy during quarantine by baking. "I love cooking by myself and with my family. It’s not new to me and I’ve always loved it, but I’ve had a lot more time to cook and try new recipes and dishes," she said.
Students are finding a number of ways to keep busy off screens and have fun while being at home. In a survey sent to the 9-12 student body, with approximately 10% responding, fitness (running, walking, dancing) topped the list of activities, followed by board and card games. Cooking and playing music also ranked high, with reading wrapping up the top 5.
- Fitness (72.4%)
- Board games and cards (65.5%)
- Cooking (62.1%)
- Music, playing or singing (62.1%)
- Reading (58.6%)
