Fencing team hopes to continue making positive strides

Junior Phillip Swanson is ready for the fencing season. After personally placing tenth in the state individually, Swanson has higher expectations for himself, “At the end of the season we’ve got state tournaments…and I want to get into the top eight this year.” Swanson holds these high standards not only for himself, but for the rest of his team: “It’s looking pretty good. Last year we got like, third in state. I have high hopes for the fencing team.” Swanson said. Senior Captains Marie Siliciano, Peter Driscoll and Saif Ahmed also look to lead the team to a strong finish.
