What’s one song you love, and one song you hate?

Music is all around us, filling our lives with rhythm, melody, and emotion. It comes in many different forms, from the latest pop hits to classic rock, rap, jazz, country, and everything in between. Some people can’t get enough of one genre, while others might not connect with it at all. Each person has their own favorite genre or genre that resonates with their personality. Music has a unique way of speaking to people differently, depending on who they may surround themselves with, and what their hobbies and likes are. Music taste is influenced by numerous different factors, such as personality traits, personal experiences, social influence, environmental factors, cognitive abilities and familiarity. Research has shown that music taste is dependent on whether one may be an extrovert or an introvert. People who are considered extroverts typically tend to prefer upbeat, energetic music such as rap, pop and EDM, while introverts tend to prefer music that has a deeper meaning and powerful lyrics that focus on an emotional connection.
