The Plaza

The Plaza Theater first opened in 1967, located in East St. Paul, brings viewers back to simpler times with even simpler prices. Costing just $3.00 per person Wednesday-Monday and $2.00 per person on “2 dollar Tuesdays,” The Plaza has two screening rooms where it plays movies from 12:00-8:00 p.m. While the Plaza is certainly out of date, it adds to the lure and theme of the theater. Customers who crave to step back in time or don’t need a reclining chair to watch their favorite new movie will be highly satisfied with the reasonable prices and charm.

Now playing at The Plaza is Bohemian Rhapsody, Bumblebee, Mary Poppins Returns, The Mule, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Second Act, and The Wife. Additionally, not only does the Plaza feature affordable tickets but also affordable snacks. The plaza offers a variety of snacks and beverages available for purchase– popcorn costing only $2.75 rivals any AMC price.
