Jordan Casomar
Jordan Casomar talks about the drawbacks of not having a diverse system regarding the power structure of society. He believes that the majority, white people, need to take the next step in the battle against racism, which is self-interrogation. A lot of environments make small decisions such as putting black people in hostile environments to work. Casomar said, “People need to look at medieval torture and not just see an event in history but the pain that was created.”
Casomar believes that the events in history need to be seen as an origin of pain for people, for example, slavery is an origin of pain for black people.
