![ECLIPSE. A solar eclipse is a rare event in which the moon is between Earth and the Sun, blocking the view of the sun. In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. The week in sports
Boys’ golf notched two conference wins, defeating Minnehaha Academy 171-219 May 3 and Breck 182-183 May 5. Softball also came away May 3 with two wins against Breck in a double-header, 2-0 and 10-0.
Spartan Baseball continued the IMAC victory run May 3-4 with two wins: one over Blake 8-2 and another versus Providence Academy 7-0. Blackhawks Lacrosse defeated Providence May 3 in a nailbiter 7-6 win. Boys Tennis won 7-0 against Holy Angels May 5. Spartan Lacrosse plays tonight @ 6 p.m. against Columbia Heights at Columbia Heights.
