World Savvy should move from competition to club

World Savvy club would provide students with a better understanding of global issues and make them more open to new ways of thinking.
Although the St. Paul Academy entered the World Savvy program when it was still a lively competition, it has changed from a showcase of work to a new system of changing the history classroom. SPA wants an outlet to exhibit research, not an a handbook on how to run a classroom.

The SPA team has won first and second in previous years.
The First Aid Vectors compete in the World Saavy competition Apr. 25.  “We assigned everyone a different role to play (e.g. doctor working to develop a treatment for ebola, a nonprofit worker, etc.) and everyone wrote a corresponding part of the script,” junior Milo Wittenberg said. The team took first place.
