To ensure that students understand affirmative consent beginning at a young age, this new policy must span kindergarten through twelfth grade, laying an expectation of consent and building a culture set to dismantle rape culture from the moment students enter our community.
On page 16 of the US Student Handbook the section Affinity Groups is included for the first time to date. “We came to realize that one of the biggest and most active parts of our community are our affinity groups and they weren’t referenced at all in the handbook, US Principal Max Delgado said.

The Gender Diversity parent meeting held on Jan. 30 in Driscoll Commons presented scientific and personal information about gender diversity as it relates to students.
Dean of Students Max Delgado will become the US Principal on July 1. Sophomore Sydney Therien said, “[Delgado] being our principal will definitely be an advantage. I believe that he knows the students on a more personal level, and with a lot of the other administrators it’s more of a shadow control over the school, thats more impersonal. I believe it will all feel more connected.”
