Senior Kenzie Giese is currently entering her senior season of lacrosse after finishing off a remarkable year as the goalie for the United hockey team that went to state. I asked her a few questions about her upcoming senior season in lacrosse.
I take a lot of naps in the wintertime because I either have late night hockey games that I’m tired from, or I have a game that day and I need to catch up on my sleep before the game, junior Thomas Bagnoli said.

Crammed around a Harkness table, students and faculty sat together to practice how to discuss across difference.
On Sept. 10, students from the History of Refugee Communities in Minnesota class took a field trip to the Forced From Home Exhibit in Minneapolis which puts visitors in the shoes of global refugees. “It was hard to only pick five things. I thought it was an informative experience to be able to engage in the journey many refugees undertake,” senior Kenzie Giese said. The exhibit is open through the Sept. 16.

United Girls Hockey aims for state this season as they begin their season.
The United hockey team held an event for Russ Ebnet on Oct. 21 at Burger Moes in St. Paul to announce their fundraising efforts. “[...][You] aren’t just playing for yourself, you’re playing for your whole community. It’s helping us all become bigger people and realize how important it is to help out in things you believe in,” United player Kenzie Giese said.
