ECLIPSE. A solar eclipse is a rare event in which the moon is between Earth and the Sun, blocking the view of the sun. In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. So if they [the students] have that chance, they should absolutely take the chance to see a total eclipse if they ever can. The next one in Minnesota will be the year 2099, Astronomy and Planetary Science teacher Joseph Martin said.

Junior Lucy Murray had been searching for a summer job when the puzzle pieces fell in place. “I discovered Urban Village through one of my friends, Ali Browne, Murray said. She had been working there for a while and I mentioned that I needed a job, and she talked to the four women who own Urban Village and recommended me.”

Murray’s salon job inspires female entrepreneurship

It all started when four women shared one dream: to run a salon while maintaining balance being working moms and cultivating an environment that was truly a joy to be a part of. This community would soon flourish with spirited employees, one of which is junior Lucy Murray.
Not enough people had ran for USC the year before, so Hartfeldt decided to run this year. “I thought that I would be a good person to represent the student body because Im fairly outgoing and assertive... I like to take control and make sure everything is running smoothly” she said.
