Senior Emilia Hoppe has volunteered at the annual Sanneh Foundation gala with her friends for over five years. “The Sanneh Foundation helps run the Conway Community Center in St. Paul where they provide free after-school care and dinner services. The program is a bit understaffed, so I will help keep the kids entertained and supervised,” Hoppe said.

On Oct. 4 the outdoors club planned a hike at Battle Creek regional park. We want to make the outdoors more accessible to everyone and provide opportunities to enjoy and play in the natural world, co-president Emilia Hoppe said.

Numerous spring sports have begun captain's practices, offering students an opportunity to improve skills and have a good time.
Students for Social Justice set up boxes and racks in different parts of the school for students to drop off gently used winter clothing. Sophomore Emilia Hoppe, a member of SSJ, said “all of the clothing that we collect is going to go to the Neighborhood House, which is a place that among other things, helps out refugees.”
