Senior Ellen McCarthy will be traveling to Tahoe, California with the Midwest team to compete against other Junior National teams.

The Spartan ski team competed in the races in the 11th Annual Peter Westra Memorial Sprints this year for the 11th time, despite adverse conditions. Senior Ellen McCarthy takes first place out of 50 girls, with freshman Val Hart coming in fourth.
