I remember the first day they were so excited to show us something that belonged only to them. In the pouches were donated children toothbrushes and toothpastes. The daycare provided them with toothbrushes because they couldn’t afford them at home. Basic necessities were an everyday struggle for some of these kids. That hit me hard. senior Nissa Rolf said.

Junior Alice Tibbetts listens to one of her favorite bands, All Time Low. Tibbetts is a member of the choir and hopes to learn how to play the guitar, and play the songs of her favorite bands on it. “I like anything that gets me dancing or a song that I’ll listen to like 5 or 6 or 7 hundred times,” Tibbetts said.
