The Rubicon

Emily Thissen
Online Opinions Editor Emily Thissen has been a Rubicon staff member since her freshman year of high school and has enjoyed her role of reporting and editing for the Rubicon. She enjoys playing as a mid fielder on the SPA Varsity soccer team with her friends as well as pursuing her passion for traveling around the world. Her favorite place she has traveled to is Thailand but she also liked Africa and would like to go back to possibly catch a glimpse of her favorite animal, the giraffe. If she had to choose, third grade would be Emily's favorite year because she recalls being in a class with many of her good friends. Emily, being a very social person, enjoys staying up late with her friends at the Minnesota State Fair eating a bucket of Sweet Martha's cookies and waking up in the morning to start the day with a warm plate of hash browns.
