Early Tuesday morning, students in Upper School advisories were posed a question: is a hot dog a sandwich? The question, written in the blue sheet by US Dean of Students Chantal Thornberry, was one of the prompts she used to get her past English classes to write effective theses. “I think a hot dog is a sandwich, although I don’t actually want it to be,” Thornberry said.
