New classes: playwriting
With many elective opportunities open to the upperclassmen, there are many English courses to chose from. Junior Mina Mandic started playwriting, and it rewrote the rules she sets for her life.
“One experience that changed me is [that] I took playwriting at SPA as my English class, and it was really, really fun. I loved it so much. And I never thought that I would like playwriting, because I tend to go towards STEM things, but I really liked creative writing, and it[the class] really helped me be more creative, and also notice, like, nuances in films and that kind of stuff, which was really cool.”
