A student runs down the hallways, excited that they were getting to the lunch room five minutes early. But what they run into is a jumble of hungry students streaming all the way down into the science hallway. This isn’t due to the number of people waiting in the seemingly endless line, but the number of people waiting for an opportunity to slip into the top half of the line, forcing the bottom half to wait even longer. The Upper School Council released a statement asking students not to cut in line, and multiple other ways to keep this stream of students running smoothly. Yet the line hasn’t budged.
