![ECLIPSE. A solar eclipse is a rare event in which the moon is between Earth and the Sun, blocking the view of the sun. In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. Hugh K. Schilling Center Groundbreaking
Although the construction crew broke ground in June, Head of School Bryn Roberts wanted to wait until school was back in session to host an event. On Sept. 25, with metal beams framing the building, students, faculty, and honored guests celebrated The Hugh K. Schilling Center with a ceremonial groundbreaking.
Hugh K. Schilling’s $15 million contribution to this project is the largest gift ever given to an Independent School in Minnesota.
