![ECLIPSE. A solar eclipse is a rare event in which the moon is between Earth and the Sun, blocking the view of the sun. In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. 10 girls, 9 boys qualify for Cross Country section tournament
Cross Country Sections take place today for both the boys and girls teams. Runners who qualified for girls section competiton include Inga Wing, Taylor Barkwell, Cary Hardy, Becca Richman, Maren Overgaard, Helen Townley, Addie Morrisette, Anna Krebsbach, and Ingrid Johnson.
Boys section runners competing today include Michael Moran, Jonas Bray, Luka Shaker-Check, Soren Mishra, Naci Konar-Steenberg, Justin Troth, Levi Mellin, Matt Degnan, and Henry Whelen.
The section 4A races take place at Highland Park Golf Course in St. Paul.
