Lunch: Meat Lasagna, Vegetarian Alfredo Lasagna, Garlic Bread, Panzanella Salad, Caesar Salad, Beet and Goat Cheese Salad

1. SENIORS- We will be retaking the Senior Class Picture November 7 at 10:15. Please meet on the front lawn near Randolph and dress warm. This picture will be used for a Senior Brunch project and your parents want EVERYONE to be in the photo!

2. Look, here’s the thing. Most of you are too old to trick or treat. You can do it, but when folks drop candy in your bag and close the door, they’re shaking their heads, thinking “how old was that kid?” So why not come to Film Club’s screening of the horror movie, “Carrie,” tonight at 6:00 in the Lecture Room. We might even give out candy.

3. We will have a peer helper for all current and new members meeting today during X period. See you then!

4. Pops Concert is Coming December 1! If you are a senior, are not in the Bands, Choirs or Orchestra, and are interested in trying out for the emcees for the Pops Concert, please see Klus, Engelhardt or Mayson as soon as possible.

5. Sign up for the “Fan bus” to the Boys State Championship Soccer game on Thursday, November 1, at the Dome has been extended until 9:45 today. Even though you don’t have school tomorrow due to parent teacher conferences we will order fan buses if we get enough requests. Please sign up on the sheet outside Mr. Brown’s office. Remember to bring $7.00 for your admission ticket which you will buy at the ticket office. Bus will leave SPA at 11:45 am and return to SPA at approximately 3:15 pm.

6. JUNIORS – Regarding the practice ACT, please note the posted signs and email sent to you on Tuesday. We’d like to assure you the chance to have a real practice test experience, so we encourage you to arrive in time for a 7:45 am start. You will be done by or before 11:45 with time to get the Metrodome for the game. (Bring your #2 pencils, water, and calculator – NOTE – ACT does not permit TI-89 and TI-92) …… Students who truly cannot take the test Thursday morning may pick up a copy of the test Wednesday after school from College Counseling, to complete over the weekend and return to us Monday morning to submit for scoring. But we encourage all who can to use the Thursday morning opportunity. See us in college counseling with any questions. Good luck on this test, and good luck Spartans!
