  • "I would love to shadow or be with a nutritionist who works with professional sports teams," Upper School P.E. teacher Cari Jo Anderson said.

  • "I would love to work with an amusement park designer," Upper School chemistry teacher Christine Schwichtenberg said.

  • "What I would want to visit is an air traffic controller. I love the airport and I love the planes landing and taking off and I think it would be really cool to see how they get that to happen. I mean I think it's incredible...it's almost a miracle that planes don't crash in the sky especially in a busy airport like MSP," Upper School history teacher Jon Peterson said.

  • "Minneapolis happens to be the place where the biggest video game magazine in the country is based so I would have probably tried to get an internship at Game Informer," Upper School French teacher Aimeric Lajuzan said.

In the swing of the second semester, senior projects, month-long internships that seniors complete through May, are fast approaching. Picking a project can prove to be daunting and possibilities are endless. While seniors must follow the guidelines of the program, various teachers in the SPA community commented on what they would do for their dream senior project.

“Minneapolis happens to be the place where the biggest video game magazine in the country is based,” Upper School French teacher Aimeric Lajuzan said, “…I would have probably tried to get an internship at Game Informer.”
