Any number of small, personal actions can make a positive impact on the environment and are often easy to do.
Often times, the straws given out at resturants and that can be mass-bought at grocery stores, degrade easily. A reusable plastic straw, which is thicker and about the same size, can last a lot longer than the cheap and flimsy straws.
