Seniors Evva Parsons and Maddie Flom-Staab will be traveling to Germany this summer to spend the year abroad with the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX).  “It’s a big intense application process with interviews and all that jazz. It was like another college application.” Flom-Staab said.

Around the country, protests, media coverage, and social media spoke loudly about the riots and police brutality in Ferguson, Missouri. Despite this, the SPA community has been rather silent. In response to this, the Intercultural Club and Student Political Union facilitated a discussion on Ferguson on Oct. 8.
