As the Class of 2018 finishes their final week of classes, many seniors reflect on their high school careers, and look ahead to new beginnings.
RAISE YOUR HAND. On April 17, Common Ground members spoke about their experiences of racism within and outside of SPA to educate the community. “Say who you want to be not who others tell you to be,” the group said. On April 24, Common Ground will be handing out ribbons to promote intersectionality and to echo the messages of their presentation.

On May 5 Intercultural Club and Brown and Black Girls hosted a Cinco de Mayo celebration in Driscoll family commons.
Freshman Ashley Jallen matched a crocheted crop top with orange shorts with crochet detailing. “I like wearing shorts because I feel comfortable in them and wearing them makes me feel like spring is finally here,” she said.
