ECLIPSE. A solar eclipse is a rare event in which the moon is between Earth and the Sun, blocking the view of the sun. In other parts of the United States, the view of the Sun will be totally blocked, constituting whats called a total eclipse. A total eclipse is a completely different event that is another level of coolness. So if they [the students] have that chance, they should absolutely take the chance to see a total eclipse if they ever can. The next one in Minnesota will be the year 2099, Astronomy and Planetary Science teacher Joseph Martin said.

I was watching the final rounds of nationals, and afterwards when they gave awards, theres like two girls standing on the stage of like, 20 people and it and its a bummer, because, for example, like we are no less capable and no less successful than boys in debate. Debate students in a tournament earlier in the year. The biggest change to the tournament, like most activities this year, was the transition to an online format. “Last year, at the state tournament, it was really nice talking to people from other schools. I actually made a couple close friends that I still keep in contact with. This year, it felt a lot more isolated, although I did get to hang out with the coaches and Maya, Henry, and Jack,” junior Spencer Burris-Brown said.
