Injuries won’t keep Parke-Reimer from CrossFit training

Despite multiple injuries, Junior Celeste Parke-Reimer perseveres and continues to train in CrossFit.
Sophomore Maria Perkkio works on flipping a tire to complete a workout during a CrossFit competition. Perkkio was ranked 18 in the nation for her age group for the CrossFit Open Workout 15.1. “It’s pretty challenging to really push yourself during competitions and it gets very competitive but everyone’s super supportive of each other,” Perkkio said.
