Offering a mixture of mediums and projects, the art gallery is full of beautiful artwork this winter.
One of US art teacher Mara Duvras photographs in the gallery. Her photographs were placed alongside a poem that inspired them called A Litany for Survival by Audre Lorde. Whenever I’m making work, I’m thinking about the experience of viewing the work. For me, the experience I’m hoping to empart is one of stillness, of calm, of thinking about the space around you in a different way, Duvra said.
