Changes are being made for students in the upper library. For the 2013-14 school year the administration decided to move study hall out of the lecture room and into the upper library. “There were a couple things that made us decide,” Upper School Dean of Students Judy Cummins said. “We were thinking about the new schedule and that students will be free for a lengthy time.”

The administration, advisors, and Upper School librarian Kate Brooks have been talking about making this change since the beginning of the 2012-13 school year. “So far the feedback has been very positive. The proctors like the atmosphere,” Cummins said. The lecture room is now available for silent or collaborative study, or for classes that are bringing speakers in.
