Students and their advisories joined up with other advisories to discuss and write down things they love about the St. Paul Academy and things they think need to change. Students were asked to describe what people and places they felt were important to them in the SPA community. Second, students were asked to write down three SPA myths. The two examples used to give a students a sense of what they were writing down were: “Everyone from SPA goes to college,” or, “Everyone from SPA is rich.” Lastly, students were asked to give three examples of things that they want changed in the community. These responses will be used by Common Ground on April 17th for a presentation that will hope to bring change and new perspective to the SPA community.

Freshmen Eddie Krasny thought questions about change were especially important, “I think the question about change was important. I think people should talk about that, the things you stay quiet about.” Krasny finished with, “It’s good to talk about personal things. Not in front of big groups of people, but with small groups.”

Common Ground’s presentation will be held during X-period on April 17th.
